The cube is a master of spatial illusion. This workshop invites you to explore its geometry—moving through levels, corners, planes, and perspectives in ways that are both intentional and exploratory.
You’ll explore how reorienting the cube transforms the experience, changing the illusions revealed in both its lines and your own. Along the way, you’ll learn to navigate the space with others, creating shared moments of cube-craft magic together.

Prereqs: This is a beginner-plus level lab, open to aerialists at any stage—as long as you have a solid foundation to work from on at least one apparatus.
Cressie Mae is a Boulder local performance artist and coach. Since the pandemic she has realized her love for coaching private lessons and teaching circus arts to children. Her current passion project is working as the Youth Program Executive Director for the Boulder Circus Center. While she works out of many local studios, Cressie Mae calls the BCC her home away from home. When she isn’t in the studios coaching or creating, you can find her in the air and on stages with The Fractal Society, The Junkyard Socialites, Luxe Entertainment and other local collaborations.
