In this dynamic and exciting straps workshop, we will be swinging as high and as fast as we can! We will be focusing on the basic two-arm front-back swing, plus dislocates and inlocates - bucket list skills for many aerialists! Pre-reqs: unassisted invert, unassisted skin-the-cat. No straps-specific experience necessary.

Jay discovered aerial straps in his late 20s after a brief stint in gymnastics. In the 7 years since, he has been performing and teaching straps at studios across Northern Colorado, including Denver Circus Collective, Frequent Flyers, and Boulder Circus Center. You can find him at just about every BCC open gym, where he would be happy to teach you a trick or two.
