Duo Hoop: Connection, Counterbalance & Collaboration - Emily Barber
Duo Hoop/Lyra - Intermediate
Saturday 12p-130p (UP)
In this intermediate duo hoop workshop, we’ll dive into the foundations of working in base and flyer roles, explore mirrored positions, and build confident, fluid transitions between shared shapes. Participants will learn how to communicate through movement, apply safe counterbalance techniques, and develop seamless flow as a pair. Ideal for aerialists comfortable with intermediate lyra vocabulary who want to expand into collaborative work and discover the creative possibilities of moving together on the hoop.
Pre-reqs for hoop: Easy inversion, pull-over to hips, single knee hang
