This class is designed to explore a multitude of concepts such as hanging, balancing, falling and transitions. The focus is on aerial as a physical concept and experiential practice. We will explore theories about technique, momentum, presence and form while asking questions and embracing room for risk and possibilities. We will examine fundamentals to gain efficiency, ease, fluidity, and awareness, making us better aerialists in a safe and supportive environment

Lisa Natoli, is a sought after aerial performance artist based where ever she lands. Lisa has presented solo and ensemble work at The Toronto Contemporary Circus Festival, The House of Yes, Galapagos Art Space, CBGB’s Gallery, The Brooklyn Lyceum, Gowanus Ballroom, MonkeyTown, The Slipper Room, Invisible City, The Clocktower Cabaret, and with Black Hearts Burlesque. In 2017, Lisa worked on a creation project with Spiegelworld, directed by Steven Hoggett, at St. Ann’s Warehouse in NYC.
